Setting Off

So after an hour and a half drive we finally reached the location that we would set off from, a small car park North of the Lake. The weather was warm and my daughter and I gathered our belongings from the back of my car ready to start our journey up the hill towards the lake.

After about 100m however, my daughter decided she didnt want to carry her kit anymore so I had to step in. Unfortunatley, this is also where the complaints started. She managed to crack on and started to enjoy the journey and the abundents of wildlife around her. We found snakes, lizards different species of bird and quite a few rodents along the route.
